The "Ra-re" part of the name refers to a separate brand that is also associated with the Bertoncello family and emerged in the 1990s in the Venice area. This brand focused on redefining fashion with a more truthful and meaningful approach, contrasting with what they perceived as exaggerated luxury designs of the time. Ra-re's designs were also influenced by the art and craft culture of Venice
Ra-re was the Mens division of No-li-ta High End womens Italian fashion. Italian jeanswear specialist Italservices SpA in 2011 signed an agreement of company rental with Flash & Partners to produce and sell the brands. Nolita, Nolita Pocket, Ra-Re and Ra-Re Kid. Due to Flash & Partners’ suffering from the international market crisis, Italservices Spa takes over selling and producing collections for spring/summer 2012, while Italservices will guarantee the jobs of 40 Flash & Partners’ employees.
With the new acquisition, Italservices SpA is now having eleven brands in their portfolio: Met, Chino & Friends, Cycle, Heavy Project, JFour, J Color, Tramarossa and Nolita, Nolita Pocket, Ra-Re e Ra-Re Kid.
